I decided I would blog about my running while on the C25K program since my running and quilting run hand in hand. Here are my results of the program so far.

Week1 Day1.. Running C25K program. Awesome 28 minute workout! Beautiful Day too!!

Woo Hoo... 39 degrees... but Week 1 Day 2 is over, made it through it. Didn't procrastinate like I thought I was gonna cause it was cool out. Hope I stay motivated. Total workout time, 28:30.

Week 2 Day 1 over. Late posting this. My sciatic nerve was hurting but I ran anyway. Tried to go bowling, bowled one game and I couldn't bowl any more for the night. On a heating pad and using Icy Hot right now. Gonna baby it until it gets better.

Week 3 Day 2 is over! That was yesterday, meant to post it. Today I walked 4 miles! I had slept from 1:30 to 5:30 and woke up. 7:30 I was out the door for a walk. Came back home and went back to bed till 1:30. lol Got 4 more hours. I must have needed that. Found out today that Taylor will graduate from High School with Honors. I am so proud of her!!! She has an A or B Average for High School, not sure which yet.

Week 3 Day 3 over. Walked 3 miles along with my workout for a total of 4 miles. Still not sore. I don't understand why my body doesn't get sore after running or walking especially when I add mileage.

Ok, W4D1 is over.... Boy what a hard run! It's my fault. I thought since I could run the 1/4 mile in 3 minutes that I could do a 1/2 mile in 5. I better think again, as I just started back running. It did say, 1/2 mile OR 5 minutes, LOL. I'll do better on Day 2..

W4D2 Completed. Ran on 4 hours of sleep. Body has been tired for a week now. I think it's cause I quit drinking my vinegar and water. Thought maybe that was keeping me hyped up night, but evidently not! Going back to drinking it today.

After having many months of anxiety in my sleep... tonight was the first night in a long time I slept with no problems. Chris had taken me out to dinner this night.. something just felt different, or I felt like I was out of prison or something cause I had been in the house so much. I had decided to get a beer and sip it slowly so I could be relaxed. I did so and was so relaxed even after I came home. So glad to have drank that one, cause I slept so good and I needed it so badly.

Missed W7D3 ... didn't feel like running. Haven't run since Thurs. So today had to decide what to do since I had not run my last day. So.. I went out and I ran W8D1.. that is 2 3/4 miles. I finished at 13:05 mpm. Not so bad considering I've been running a 13:12 mpm pace. Could have run the 3 miles already but I want to do the program.

Well... it rained most of the week here. I did not run my W8D2 until today. It went pretty good though. I dragged out of bed and got me 16oz of water and just about finished the bottle. I paced myself slow so I could make sure I was going to be able to complete the run. I started at 8:25 and finished at 9:01. My mile pace was a 13:05. Well, it was a little improvement. I need to lose some more weight so the running becomes faster. I am not disappointed so much though... I will get the speed as I go along.

Finally ran my first 3 miles today. W9D1. I ran it in a 13.20 mpm pace. Not so good, but at least I did get the 3 mile run in. As I had said earlier, I will work on getter faster later. If I was about 20 pounds lighter, I would be able to run it a little faster.
